Four champions crowned in the GSSSA

Team sports continue to make a return in the school system in The Bahamas, following COVID-19, and in volleyball, four champions were crowned in the Government Secondary Schools Sports Association (GSSSA) on Monday. All four series ended in two-game sweeps at the Kendal G.L. Isaacs National Gymnasium.

Lady Techs deny Mingoes a spot in the postseason

The University of The Bahamas (UB) Mingoes women's volleyball team was denied a spot in the New Providence Volleyball Association (NPVA) postseason after losing to the Lady Technicians in a play-in game at the Anatol Rodgers Gymnasium on Tuesday night. The Mingoes lost in five sets, 25-23, 22-25, 24-26, 25-22 and 15-11.
